ALFRED HITCHCOCK

Talking of arrows, did you read Mr. Weiler's review in the New York Times? Apparently, he found “the climax” to be -- and I quote -- “overdrawn.”

ALMA
I doubt whether Mr. Weiler has had a climax in years.

Can't wait to see Hitchcock? Still trying to perfect your impression of Old Alfie before Anthony Hopkins comes along and gets an Oscar nomination for Best Actor? Always fantasised about being married to Helen Mirren?

Then John J. McLaughlin's shooting script for Hitchcock (or, Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho) is just the thing to curl up with under your winter duvet. Luckily, thanks to our advent calendar and Fox Searchlight's fully stocked awards site, you can read the Hitchcock screenplay online here.

Hitchcock is out in UK cinemas on Friday 8th February 2013. The trailer is this way.
