After the whole will-they won't-they thing over the hypen, Spider-Man was given its official title yesterday: The Amazing Spider-Man! (replace the ! with ™)

It's a pretty solid title, although by now you will have seen that and its official picture literally everywhere on the Internet at least 30 times, so here are some of the rejected Spider-Man titles they were originally looking at, along with the possible synopsis for each...

Spider-Man's train goes out of control and only Denzel Washington can save him.		Spider-Man thinks that he's God.
Peter Parker is a retard.		Spider-Man is played by Bruce Willis.

I particularly like that in The Special Spider-Man, it looks like the superhero retard is about to punch the non-superhero retard.

Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man (starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Rhys Ifans) will be released in 3D on Friday 3rd July, 2012.
