Yes, it's apparently true. According to Variety, there's a restart being worked on for the Marvel superhero. This, after that Ben Affleck failure no-one liked. Sure, the director's cut was supposed to be more bearable, but the blind lawyer plus Colin Farrell formula just smacked of mistake. But Mark Steven Johnson, director of the 2003 adaptation, will no doubt be pleased by the news that Marvel are "quietly developing a new version of Daredevil". Although he'll probably be nowhere near it.
Still, it's not all bad news for Mark. He may get another shot at Ghost Rider, too. Yes, there's another outing for the leather-clad Nicholas Cage on the cards, with David Goyer's script from a while back apparently being used as the main material. Erm... great. That's two franchises I don't really care about. And so today officially becomes Mildly Pants Superhero Day.
