Every now and then, a film comes along that changes the world. Sometimes, you don't even realise it's doing it.

World War H – or hate’s not all that

What do Shyamalan, World War Z and Man of Steel have in common? Hype - and hate.

It's true. There is another Bridget Jones movie. Bridget Jones will strike back. Working Title have gone Beyond the Edge of Reason. And this time, it's newspaper-based.

Yes, the granny pants-wearing, Mr Darcy-pulling, desperate cling-on Bridget will return in yet another big screen outing. There may be no more books to base it on, but that can't stop Bridget! No, it's going to take its topic from author Helen Fielding's columns she wrote for The Independent a few years back: babies. Ickle Bridgets. She desperate for some offspring - cue Darcy and Cleaver as potential fathers. There's no writer or director on board (it's early days), but this will be one big money-spinner. Think Marley & Me + Sex and the City. But with babies.

You can go hide behind your diaries now.
