Film review: Wadjda

Every now and then, a film comes along that changes the world. Sometimes, you don't even realise it's doing it.

World War H – or hate’s not all that

What do Shyamalan, World War Z and Man of Steel have in common? Hype - and hate.

New Stoker trailer online

A new Stoker trailer popped up online this week over at Empire. And it's got me, well, stoked about Park Chan-Wook's latest film.

The director's English language debut, it sees Nicole Kidman mourning the death of her hubby only for her brother, Uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode), to arrive. Incest? Mind games? Something more sinister? Needless to say, Mia Wasikowska's daughter is going to find out.

Stoker is out in the UK on Friday 1st March, but will premiere at the Glasgow Film Festival. You know the Glasgow Film Festival. The one with the ridiculously excellent line-up in only its ninth year.

Watch the new trailer for Stoker here, marvel at some spectacular editing, then start working out the cheapest way to get to Glasgow for next month.
