Film review: Wadjda

Every now and then, a film comes along that changes the world. Sometimes, you don't even realise it's doing it.

World War H – or hate’s not all that

What do Shyamalan, World War Z and Man of Steel have in common? Hype - and hate.

"That thing is going to murder me in my sleep."

That's Frank (Frank Langella) to Robot (Peter Sarsgaard) in the film called, funnily enough, Robot & Frank. A cute, sci-fi-tinged tale, it sees grumpy old git Frank get shacked up with an android companion to stop him going senile and dying. And, as the Robot & Frank UK trailer suggests, a bizarre robo-relationship develops.

How can you tell that a film about a robot is resoundingly fantastic? It leaves you wanting one of your own as soon as the credits roll. This new trailer manages that in under two minutes.

The film is out on Friday 8th March. (You can head this way to read our review of Robot & Frank.)
