Remember Quantum of Solace? No, neither do I. That's partly because it's an unforgettable, intelligible mess. Even the opening credits, usually an impressive piece of visual design, failed to catch the eye. Why? Because MK12 were behind them. They were competent enough, but something was missing. That something? Daniel Kleinman. Even since GoldenEye, Kleinman has been king of the Bond credits. Fusing Maurice Binder with his own digital flair, he was the opening title equivalent of David Arnold. Which is why, when he returned to design the Skyfall opening credits, we ended up with this:
