Every now and then, a film comes along that changes the world. Sometimes, you don't even realise it's doing it.

World War H – or hate’s not all that

What do Shyamalan, World War Z and Man of Steel have in common? Hype - and hate.

Did you know that music can make people pregnant? It’s true. Just ask Rachel, a young Mormon raised in an isolated Utah commune. She listens to a cassette tape she discovers in the basement and promptly finds herself up the duff. So she does the only logical thing: runs away to Vegas to find the father.

Electrick Children, a really lovely coming-of-age flick by director Rebecca Thomas and starring Rory Culkin and Julia Gardner, is out on DVD on Monday 15th October (that’s today, calendar fans!) and I’ve got three copies to give away on DVD.

It’s worth it: don’t believe me? Read our Electrick Children review. Or get a load of the beautiful cover art by Sam Gilbey:
