Film review: Wadjda

Every now and then, a film comes along that changes the world. Sometimes, you don't even realise it's doing it.

World War H – or hate’s not all that

Matthew Vaughn loves X-Men. Almost as much as small purple-haired children chopping adults to pieces. In fact, Vaughn loves X-Men so much he walked out of X-Men 3 nine weeks before shooting started. But now the Kick-Ass director has walked right back on to Fox's list for directors to take on X-Men: First Class.

This follows him walking right out of negotiations with Fox on the franchise prequel - you can't help but sense a pattern. But after looking for other helmers to tackle the job, Vaughn is in the frame as Fox's favourite once more.

Expect an official announcement soon. Unless he walks out again.
