Film review: Wadjda

Every now and then, a film comes along that changes the world. Sometimes, you don't even realise it's doing it.

World War H – or hate’s not all that

What do Shyamalan, World War Z and Man of Steel have in common? Hype - and hate.

$151 million from $15,000 - no wonder Paramount are pushing ahead with Paranormal Activity 2. Hoping to repeat the flash in the pan popularity of the original, which mostly came from the fact that it was an unknown original project, the studio have brought in a director to helm the follow-up: Kevin Greutert.

Greutert, who directed Saw VI, will oversee the sequel, which will be released in direct competition with Saw VII on - you guessed it - Halloween. Michael R Perry's penning a screenplay at the moment, with Oren Peli as Executive Producer. He's already trying to reassure fans of the first film: “These guys get it, and you won’t be disappointed." I'm sure they feel better already.
