Zoolander 2

Really, really, ridiculously disappointing.

The Assassin

There are martial arts movies and there are martial arts movies. The Assassin isn't either.

Batman v Superman

A bold, mature exploration of myths and epics - followed by a two-hour mess.

Don't know what to get someone for Christmas? Stuck for ideas for post-Turkey snacks? Need an excuse to eat cake?

Our Advent Calendar continues with the first in a set of Christmas movie cupcakes based on seasonal classics. Everything from Die Hard and Home Alone to Rare Exports made tiny and edible. Nom.

First up, something quick and simple: The Nighmare Before Christmas cupcakes.

Ingredients

100g butter

100g sugar

100g SR flour

25g cocoa powder

2 eggs

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp vanilla essence

Chocolate chips

Decorating

Oreos

Icing sugar

Water

Black colouring

Oven temp 180°C

Cooking time 15-20mins

Mix all the ingredients together (chocolate chips and cocoa powder optional) and put into a paper case with half an Oreo sat on the bottom. Once removed from the oven, leave to cool and mix up some thick white icing. Roll it out and cut a circle to cover the cupcake. Plonk it on top, using water to stick it in place.

Use the food colouring to mix up some black icing, then draw Jack Skellington's face on the top. Start with the mouth, then add the massive pair of eyes.

And what's this?
